General Information

The School of Mathematics & Computational Science of Anhui University (the former Department of Mathematics of Anhui University)  is founded in 1929, one of the earliest founded department of mathematics in P. R. China. The School consists of the following departments and institution:

¨ Department of Mathematics,
¨ Department of Applied Mathematics,

¨ Department of Information and Computation Science,

¨ Department of Statistics,

¨ Department of Higher Mathematics Teaching,

¨ Mathematical Institution of Anhui University.

The School currently comprises 88 full-time faculty, 16 administrative staffs, about 1064 undergraduate students and 130 masters and doctor degree students. The Master and Doctor degree program is administered by the Graduate School of Anhui University.

The research interests of the school span significant areas of pure and applied mathematics which are described on our research groups page.
