On
the morning of February 24th, 2006, the Fourth Plenary Session
of Fifth Teaching Staff Congress of Anhui University was held
at No. 1 Conference Hall in Yifu Library.
On the afternoon of February 21st, all
of its Executive Committee members attended its preparatory meeting
which was hosted by Professor Lu Qinyi, CPC Party Secretary of
Anhui University .He is also Chairman of the Executive Committee
of Teaching Staff Congress of Anhui University. In the meeting,
members reviewed and discussed the reports made by Mr. Yu Jianmin
on the preparation of the Fourth Plenary Session and work report
of Executive Committee. Mr.Yu is Chairman of Trade Union, Vice
Chairman of Executive Committee as well. All the members agreed
that with great support and emphasis from CPC and Administration
of Anhui University the Congress has made much progress and great
achievements. 6 topics for discussion chosen and scheduled for
this plenary session are quite close to the present conditions
of Anhui University. In particular, ˇ°The 11th Five-Year Plan
for Anui Universityˇ± is crucial to the future development of
Anhui University. The reports were got across on a principle basis.
They suggested the reports be revised again before submitting
them to the Plenary Session.
