On the afternoon of April 4, 2006, a meeting aimed at arranging marking test paper of University Entrance Examination of year 2006 was held at Anhui University. Lu Qinyi, secretary of CPC Party of Anhui University with Li RenQun, vice president of Anhui University and some related participants attended the meeting which was sponsored by Du Xianneng, vice president of Anhui University. In the meeting, participants reviewed the report on net-based marking implementing plan presented by Office of Students Recruitment
    After reporting, Mr Du pointed that this is the first time for Anhui Province to implement net-based marking test paper. Compared to the old way of marking, the new one can reduce mistakes, be easily inspected, simplified the procedures and keep fair and safe. There are 463,000 examinees in total in Anhui Province this year and Anhui University will preside over marking Chinese and subjective part of Arts Comprehensiveness. Mr Du expected that all the related departments and participants could work together in order to accomplish the mission. In the end, Mr Lu Qinyi delivered an important speech on this issue and he also emphasized that all the related departments should pay more attention to this marking work, concerning about the maximum number of paper this year. Secondly, skillful teachers who adapted to net-based marking would be chosen by powerful leadership. Thirdly, all the participants involved in this job, especially those on the key positions, should meet the demands of the discipline. All the related departments and units should complete preparatory work jointly to insure the accomplishment to be perfect.
