On the afternoon
January 12, 2007, CPC Secretary of Anhui University Mr. Lu Qinyi,
he is also Secretary of Adminstration Committee of this university,
met the delegation of Chilean Ambassador H.E. Fernando Reyes Matta,
his wife and Dr. Gerando Rocham, President of St Thomas Unviersity
in Chile. Both sides exchanged ideas on how to develop cooperation
fields and enhance mutual communication in the future.
Anhui
university has established sister relationship with St Thomas
University in Chile since 2001. At this meeting both universities
discussed and explored the possibility that a Spanish Education
center being established at Anhui University with help of St
Thomas University and a Confucius Institute being established
at St Thomas University with help of Anhui University.
Vice President Wang Yuankuo and other related principals were
at presence.
