On the morning of March 31,2007, the grand opening ceremony of 2007 MPA program was held in No.1 conference room of Yifu Library, Anhui University. Mr. Wu Keming, director of the Research Office, Development & Research Center of Anhui Provincial Government, and Mr. Ye Hua, Deputy Secretary of the Anhui University Committee of the CPC attended the ceremony. Mr. Xie Yangqun, Director of the Administration Department of Anhui University hosted the ceremony.

On behalf of Anhui University, Mr. Ye Hua made a brief introduction on the history and development of the university, and expressed sincere appreciation for the support and assistance from all circles of the society. Meanwhile, Mr. Ye Hua extended warm welcome and best wishes to the new MPA students. Ms. Xia Shuqin and Mr. Wu Yuanqi, representative of new students and teachers respectively made a speech on the ceremony.

More than 180 people were present at the ceremony, including faculties from Administration Department, MPA Education Center, deans of departments, professors and new MPA students.

Mr. Wu Keming then gave an academic lecture entitled “Innovation of Government Administration and Public Administration Training”.
