According to the deployment of Provincial Students Recruitment Committee and Provincial Educational Recruitment Department, our university will continue to undertake the task of correcting papers of two disciplines, Chinese and comprehensive arts, of the entrance examination to colleges on the computers. On the morning of May, 11, our university held a working meeting in the second auditorium in the administrative building to study the deployment of correcting papers of entrance examination to colleges.

The meeting was chaired by the secretary of CCP Committee of our university, Lu Qinyi. Yang Jiaqin, the secretary of Discipline Committee in our university, Li Renqun, the vice president of our university, and people from relevant departments and divisions attended the meeting.

It was decided in the meeting that the place of correcting these papers was on Qin Yuan campus and the time lasted from June 10 till June 19. There would not be absence of any class during this period of time. It was also required that the units that would undertake the task should adjust their teaching schemes to make sure that the task was finished with high quality during the fixed time.

It is said that there are altogether 564022 students who would take part in the entrance examination to colleges, among them 255219 students of arts and 308803 students of science. This year there is an increase of 22% in the amount of papers compared with that of papers corrected in our university last year.
