The Department of Education has recently made the decision to approve to set up 10 first provincial model bases to train graduate students. The School of Computer Science and Technology at our university was included in the lists.

These model bases were chosen according to the constructing requirements of “Eight Bases” and “Six Projects” of the provincial “861 Project”, attaching importance to fields like electronic information, biologic technology, new information, new material,new medicine, and so on.
