On the afternoon of Sep, 20, accompanied by Huang Chuanxin, the vice minister of the propagandizing department of our provincial CPC committee, Zhang Guozuo, the director of the national planning office of philosophy and social science, made a report entitled “pushing the prosperous development of philosophy and social science” at our university. President Hang Dekuan and Vice President Wu Chunmei attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Huang Chuanxin. Mr Zhang expatiated on the important significance of developing philosophy and social science in new period and gave instructional suggestions on how to push the work.

Leaders of departments of arts and representatives of teachers and students also attended the meeting.
