On the afternoon of Oct, 17, professor Seth R Marder from Georgia Institute of Technology, a famous expert in nonlinear optical material, was employed as a visiting professor of our university. The vice president Wang Yuankuo awarded letter of employment to him.

After the ceremony, professor Seth R Marder gave a report entitled as “Perspective on Organic Photonics and Electronics”. 200 teachers and students from the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering listened to the report and communicated with him. He also visited some laboratories and the new campus.
