In 2006, ten academic programs of Anhui University get sponsored by National Social Science Foundation, with the total fund amounting to 780,000 RMB, the best result of recent years’ applications. Of these ten programs, eight fit the category of common programs, and the other two are submitted by young scholars. Based on the nature of discipline, the ten programs cover such domains as Chinese history（2 programs）, philosophy（2 ）, filing and intelligence（2 ）, economic theory（1 ）, political science（1 ）, linguistics（1 ）, as well as Marxism and Leninism（1 ）.
